Common data recovery situations
- Computer won't start but you need files from the hard drive

What to do if you think you have lost data
Stop using the device immediately. The more you use a failing drive, the harder recovery becomes. Do not try to install recovery software on the same drive — it can overwrite the very files you are trying to save.
Contact me as soon as possible. I will assess the situation and let you know what can realistically be recovered before any work begins.
For severe physical damage (e.g. drive platters scratched), I will refer you to a specialist clean-room facility if needed.
