1. Scope
These terms apply to all IT services provided by Technicien Informatique Paris, including computer repair, phone repair, IT support, remote assistance, and website design.
2. Quotations and pricing
A quote or price estimate is always provided before any work begins. Prices shown on the website are starting prices and may vary based on the complexity of the issue, device model, and parts required. Replacement parts are charged separately at cost. No work is billed without the client's prior agreement.
3. Service delivery
Services are provided at the client's home or office in Paris and Γle-de-France, or remotely via secure connection. An appointment is scheduled between client and provider. The provider commits to arriving within the agreed time window and informing the client of any delays.
4. Payment
Payment is due upon completion of the service, unless otherwise agreed. Accepted payment methods include bank transfer, cash, and other methods agreed in advance. For web design projects, a 30% deposit may be required before work begins, with the balance due upon delivery.
5. Warranty
Hardware repairs are warranted for the specific issue addressed for 30 days from the date of service. This warranty does not cover subsequent damage caused by the client, unrelated faults, or normal wear and tear. Replacement parts are warranted according to the supplier's terms.
6. Data privacy
The provider commits to handling all client data and files confidentially. No copies of client data are retained after the service, unless expressly requested. For details, see the privacy policy.
7. Liability
The provider commits to performing all services with care and professionalism. However, liability is limited to the amount of the service in question. The provider cannot be held responsible for data loss if the client has not made a prior backup. Clients are informed of potential risks before any work begins.
8. Cancellation
Clients may cancel or reschedule an appointment free of charge with at least 2 hours' notice. Late cancellations after the provider has already travelled to the location may incur a travel fee.
9. Applicable law
These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to seek an amicable resolution first. If unsuccessful, the dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Paris.
